In our Residential Treatment Program, the patient will be able to focus exclusively on his or her recovery, and he or she will not have to face the potential distractions of day-to-day life. Those who attend inpatient treatment for between one and six months (the length of the stay will vary depending on the severity of the addiction) have higher success rates than those that attend partial treatment programs. Finally, access to 24-hour support greatly helps to reduce the risk of relapse in early recovery. At Recreate Life Counseling, our comprehensive residential treatment program allows those new to recovery the opportunity to heal amongst like-minded individuals, while developing a solid foundation for a lifetime of fulfilling addiction recovery.
Our Program for Residential Rehabilitation
Adding the residential level of care to our continuum allows us the opportunity to provide more services and care to our clients. Our Residential Treatment Program offers the following components:
- Intensive therapeutic care offered during one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
Individuals who struggle with addiction often initially turn to drugs and alcohol in order to self-medicate unresolved, underlying issues. Therapeutic care helps uncover and remedy these issues, while teaching crucial skills like open and honest communication, asking for help when help is needed, and acknowledging personal successes and achievements in recovery.
- Family therapy and other family-related resources.
At Recreate Life Counseling, we believe that the family plays an integral role in comprehensive healing. We also believe that the family members themselves must heal from the far-reaching devastation of addiction. We offer therapeutic services to the immediate family members of our residents, as well as ongoing emotional support throughout the entire addiction recovery process.
- Medication management.
Those who are simultaneously struggling with mental health disorders or behavioral issues will often need medication in order to successfully recover. We have licensed prescribing physicians and psychiatrists on staff who will monitor the administering of necessary medications and track progress.
- A thorough introduction to the 12-step method of addiction treatment.
We believe that 12 step involvement is a crucial part of every successful aftercare program. We teach our residents about 12 step programs and regularly transport them to off-site 12 step meetings.
- 24-hour supervision and around the clock support.
Ongoing supervision and support work to prevent relapse while providing residents with the personal and compassionate care they need.
- The continuous support of other recovering addicts and alcoholics.
Being in a residential setting with other recovering addicts and alcoholics is conducive to long-term recovery. Residents learn to work with and support one another.
