Those with coronavirus will experience mild to severe respiratory illness with other symptoms that include:

The severe complication can occur with this illness. For instance, some people will develop pneumonia in both lungs, organ failure, and even death from this illness.

What Precautions Have We Implemented During the Coronavirus Outbreak?

With the ever-growing concern surrounding the coronavirus, we have implemented more precautions to keep our patients safe and healthy while they regain their lives in our facilities. We have increased the amount of daily cleaning with our large stock of disinfectants and implemented daily checklists to ensure nothing has been missed. In addition to keeping our facilities as clean and germ-free as possible, we have begun taking new steps to keep both clients and staff safe during this time of uncertainty including:

  • Additional screening questions during the pre-assessment with our admissions team.
  • Any PHP/PC and IOP clients will undergo monitoring of vitals each morning to make sure no symptoms arise.
  • Any clients living off property will also have their vitals taken each day they attend.

As an extra precaution, and to not instill panic, vitals will not be reported to clients. We have a wonderfully helpful and talented medical, clinical, and BHT teams here at Recreate who will be sure to track any irregularities with clients such as behavioral and mood changes as well as their whereabouts. These extra steps are meant to keep our clients and our staff safe.
